SARCOA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Service Case Manager to join our team! SARCOA is the Southern Alabama Regional Council on Aging, and we serve senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers in seven counties: Barbour, Coffee, Covington, Dale, Geneva, Henry, and Houston. Case Managers are responsible for conducting monthly home visits and will perform all related tasks to ensure the welfare and safety of their high-volume caseload. In this role, you'll provide crucial support and advocacy for individuals, helping them navigate resources and achieve their goals. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in Human Services, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Proficient computer skills. 
  • Efficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maneuver complex situations.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
  • Willingness to drive for work.
