Description

SARCOA is currently looking for a full time Human Resource Director to join our team of professionals! This position comes with a high degree of responsibility, requiring dedication, good judgement, and the ability to make appropriate decisions, supportive of the organization and its resources. In all actions, the HR Director must exhibit a commitment to confidentiality and the SARCOA core values of caring, curiosity, trust, and excellence. Full time starting salary is $74, 897.00 / yr. plus outstanding benefits.

In addition to managing the HR team and the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department this individual will be responsible for:

  • ensuring Agency compliance with federal and state laws, and organizational personnel policies;
  • providing human resource counsel related to employment and personnel matters;
  • identifying and arranging training and development opportunities and needs for employees;
  • maintaining centralized and official HR functions for the Agency; and
  • managing personnel actions and Workers’ Compensation, FMLA and ADA records and documents.

The Human Resource Director will report directly to the Executive Director and provide quarterly updates to the SARCOA Board of Directors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, personnel management, or business administration from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of three years of human resources related work experience; experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
  • A minimum of three years of progressive leadership / supervisory experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in human resource management, personnel management, or business administration.
  • SHRM – CP, SHRM – SCP or HRCI PHR credential(s)
